Bit of advise re: speeding required please!

i was caught "allegedly speeding" back in may of last year. recieved the nip through the door a week later. i followed the advice on peippo 9asked for photogaphic evidince, callibration certificate,training certificate of the officer operating the camera. They sent me the pics but nothing else. couple of months later they sent me a nice pink a4 piece of paper demanding i pay or go to court, i wrote back asking why the camera site i was allegedly caught speeding at had no signs within 1.5km of the site (according to their own website this is a prerequisite) and thatwas nearly 12 months ago

As per my previous post, I can only speak from the force I work in, where every traffic car i've seen has camera's in it.
Other forces may have different?
