Why do I have to own up to this as a member of subbrit

Who uses the bunker Chris?

The couple of bunkers that I have been to over my way are not in a mapped area yet and one of them is now used by an anti virus company

I guess Strike Command's not important then! I know it's not Wycombe but it's not far off.

Try this:
35 41 30.82 N 139 41 52.00 E

Zoom in a bit and you'll see a red topped building. I *think* this is the headquarters of Fuji Heavy Industries. These chaps are the parent company of Subaru, who, I think, make some ****ty, chavtastic, four banger engined cars

Try 35 11 14.04 N 101 59 14.03 W and zoom in to Cadilac Ranch then zoom in as close as you can on 27 56 25.42 N 12 17 28.11 W
edit because the same two codes were put down

Good find! But actually that is only the Subaru Building in Shinjuku. Subaru (FHI) is located in Gunma prefecture.

Here are a couple of pics I took of the building...
(Taken from the observatory of the Tokyo Metropolitan Gvmnt Building)

Check out the Marina in the Monaco area.

Looks like a bit of "my boats bigger than your boat"

I think this is maybe a joke from Google. Why would several of those guys be looking up at the same time, can they hear satellites whizzing by in the desert?

I'm sure the military have satellite imagery with this scale of resolution, but I think it's more likely to be a pic from an aircraft or hot air balloon.

Nothing to say it is all satellite imagery though. Suspect it's a mix of satellite based stuff and pictures taken from airplanes.

However it is a bit strange that in all that expanse of desert there is one high definition shot of that camel watering hole

That's a photo from a National Geographic survey, shot from a light aircraft. Turn the layer on in Google Earth and look at Africa it's covered in icons with similar details and further information.

http://maps.google.co.uk/

try putting the locations in there - no need to download the software if you just want a top down view
