I know its what everybody does on Valentines day but why should you need a special day to take your loved one out for a meal and or give her a card/present

no where, I did get her a card which says 'To my loving husband' on it, I prefered the picture on the front to all the girly ones

Have to say - I wouldn't fork out for an over priced meal in a cramped restaurant where the food & service are a bit iffy because they're so busy. I've got a nice piece of meat for my man for tomorrow - and I'm hoping he'll return the favour!

Did have a table booked at a lovely restaurant but my gf and i have instead invited my parents over to mine and we're cooking for them as my old man is the least romantic person in the world and hadn't arranged to do anything. We knew it would really make my mum happy to see me and spend the evening with us as it's not often she does
