Robocop.. Excellent write up and, like Rannoch, I say that Iain, Tim and the Powerstation guys have always exceeded my expectations too.
Tim set off at 4:30am to drive a good three hours to deliver my car before I set off for work, Iain kindly sent me the newly created T20 mats a few months after I picked up the car and I even rang Iain early one Saturday to check the oil requirements prior to my first service at another garage.. You really do pray for that kind of service
I've had my T20 for just over 6 months now and I can say that after getting out of a hire car for 3 days today and back into her.. I felt like crying.. Not the biggest HP, maybe not the blingest parts, but a simply stunning package that's been put together by the best in the business, and one that I use as an everyday commute.
I too would not hesitate in reccomending them unreservedly..

Same here, Iain supplied me with a Forester STi just after christmas plus Milltek, re-map, AP 6 Pots and AST's from Powerstation, excellent service from all involved.

Hi Simon,
I have to agree too & join everyone at singing their/Iains praises. Anyone else would have been truly miffed at my procrastination about the STi Forester order I was deliberating over.
However, now ordered one from him to have, when it arrives, AST’s (whatever they are), Concept Vehicle Interior leathering, ECU remap, Miltek exhaust, front lip accoutrements & something called a rubber skirt. Not sure if that’s a mandatory item to wear when driving a remapped Forester STi.

I see you decided on the Forrester in the end then. We'll have to meet up when it arrives.

the wheel hp figures are 99.99% accurate and at 232 whp its lower than what I would have expected it to be , especially on a 2.5 litre, and your transmission losses are over 50%% which is

Nice write up. I was also really impressed with the cars i saw at litchfields when i took my car to powerstation. Unfortunatly though after the service i recieved there, to which my car is still having the engine rebuilt i have been put off. The worst part is i love the new impreza's and after a bit of luck i can now afford to buy the new model. But because of the problems with my current car i am definatly not going to be parting with my hard earned cash through them

Looks spot on even more so that I sorted out a deal through Ian and the previouse owner to leave all the sat nav etc in which I think complements it.I was going to buy the white spec-c to begin with but when Ian brought out the ra white went out of the window.

I considered getting the the Type RA but as Iain pointed out, the goal was to have a T20 and that would have meant junking the rather tasty STi suspension thus wasting money.
That said, you do get some nice extras.

I must admit I found the ra's handling to be brilliant not harsh like my mates ra classic which was quite a teeth jangler when I weighted up the prose and cons on resale value as well I belive the ra was the better option long term but then each one to their own as I said earlier can't wait till wednesday.

Haha, I thought the same thing about the residue value. I was trying to talk myself into spending more cash, but considering I was originally looking at buying a "standard" JDM STi, I had to stop somewhere.

Absolute Cracker of a post!
I am tempted to get Powestation to look at the Forester which is putting out around 220 at the moment from a 2Litre XT.
Very good report and, I really enjoyed reading it.
Happy Motoring!#
Kind regards
Alan MAC
