Got it, not got much time to write at the moment. Got to go for another drive.

I had it down New Brighton. Had a few problems getting it to start.
The dealer told me that the alarm/imobiliser fob sometimes doesn't like it if you are near transmission masts.

I've got them trying to find the the button key code now.
If anyone has any ideas let me know please.
I know I should have checked this out first but my vision was clouded.
I just wanted to drive away and it to be mine!

Just nipping out again.

Paul.

Paul, I had the same problem with my X reg 2000 UK Turbo 2000 and the way to get it sorted was to take it to Holdcroft Subaru at Widnes. Subaru are aware of this problem with the alarm system and will replace the alarm ecu. Also the keyfobs will need relplacing along with recoding them and you will will have a new keycode for the interior alarm enable disenable keypad. If you need any further info them drop me a PM and I'll do my very best best to help you out.
