I bought a H reg 1.9 last year in Sorrento green and couldn't help but love it's charm and go kart performance despite being a bit of a dog and a moneypit so got rid of.

Sold it and bought a Focus ST170, couldn't justify the running costs and it was all just a bit numb for me as a driving experience.

Decided to get a runaround for a while so now driving a 2000 Fiesta 1.25 zetec whilst I make my next move.... and now look what you've all done - I want another 205

Only one brown trouser moment for me on a wet roundabout back in 97 trying to show off in my 1.6 to some R5GTT boys.

I never noticed the diesel on the road and it just flung me towards the barriers, but I managed to control it...just

Also had similar result with a spill on a roundabout.
Otherwise all good!!!

P.S. Do you guys use a normal seat belt on the road?
Will it still fit in ok?
Assuming you have roll cages fitted!!
Just weighing up the pros and cons of road driving wth cage and bucket seats.
Car is used for commuting everyday.
Currently not far but could be up to an hourish a day depending on where next job will be. ( I work in construction trade).
Scooby parked safe at home away from muck and dust etc.

Ahhhh so that is what it stands for!!! Have had a good bit of that on this car and also my brothers 106 GTI (also a great car.)

Regarding seat belts/ harnesses on road cars, one of my mates had racing harnesses on his road car - major pain in the **** for him when pulling out of junctions etc - leaning forward.

never had a problem with my harnesses on the road........unless of course you drop something or need to reach the glove box

Looking forward to driving mine again, havent been out in it for the last couple of months ......

roll on 4 weeks when she goes back to the 'ring' for 8 months

I have harnesses, but will only use them for trackdays as I have no cage yet and dont fancy rolling it with harnesses on and no cage

So i have some 309 belt buckles bolted to the tunnel with the harness eyebolts and use std seatbelts during "normal" driving.

If you're getting a 205 gti for some fun then get an mi16 - they're amazing, simple as that!

Oh and I just so happen to be selling one here
