Sure they do

What happens if they split?
What happens if they want to move again?
What happens if one gets made redundant?
What happens if they get some money and want to put in in the mortgage.

The fact is a FTB will not stay in the house longer than a few years anyway, and you need some flexibility with a mortgage, and I bet that one you suggest does not give you any!

As I said Nationwide are best.....if you qualify.
