Correct me if I'm wrong, but he didn't get the maximum sentance for the offences charged

My outrage is with this scumbag for killing a child and not even having the guts to own up and with the British justice system that has effectvely let him off of murder/manslaughter

Saw this on the news last night, absolutely disgusting. I can honestly say that if I were the parent I would sort this out myself, no question about it, I'd even do it publicly to show just how unfair the system has become. Along a similar vain, I watched the Mcyntire big sting last night, christ almighty, what a joke, the sentances read out at the end were simply astonishing.

The simple answer would be to 'accidently' run him down in an uninsured car and drive away from the scene, if you are caught the most time you will do will be 12-24 weeks - oh and a short driving ban!
You are unlikely to get much grief from the other prisoners due to the nature of your crime.

Hypothetically and IMHO
I'd shoot him through the head on the six o'clock news whilst wearing a bill board explaining who I was and why I had to do it

The fact that this bloke didn't even get the paultry minimum sentence beggars belief, but the fact is, the maximum sentence would still far well short of the mark and does not seem to reflect that this bloke killed someone whilst driving when he didn't even have a licence i.e. was not competent behind the wheel and knew it!!

So I'm not a "bastion of objectivity", then?
I suppose to be one of those, you have to mock others in your posts to help get your message over?
Or complain about others styles of writing, their spelling or grammar, while your own style comes over as rather condescending?
If that's the case, I'll just continue as I am, AND I'll continue to point out inequalities in this and other countries, no matter WHAT set of blinkered believers I upset.

I was trying to hint to you that I wanted to leave this thread about a needless death of a young innocent, as it was going off topic and a little bit disrespectful.
But fair enough.
I don't mock. I actually read what people type and comment on it. Shame others seem incapable of doing the same. If you dont like what I type, try re-reading your post before submitting it.
I appear condescending? Oh well, one of nicer things people seem to say about me.
You on the other hand, make yourself sound like the most self important and pompous person on SN. You consider yourself to be the Global Arbiter of Inequality, for some reason? How did you manage that? I might as well call myself the 'Saviour of Humanity'.
So, you'll continue as you are? What a surprise? Its not like the Good Ship Alcazar to go turning now is it? You forgot to add "Even when I'm wrong" to the end of your post #99.

IMHO this has nothing to do with race or religion and everything with being a travesty of the justice system. What were the CPS thinking? Was there really nothing else that he could be charged with? He'd have got longer if they'd have done him for speeding FFS . And the judge - what a fool.
I'm all in favour of Sharia law when I hear about things like this to be honest with you - if you can't do the time don't do the crime.

But then who else will respond to your posts, if not me?

This is what myself and other sensible people have been trying to say.
On another topic, didn't get to respond properly to you the other day, as thread got locked.
Was just getting interesting too.
