"Wait a year or two, and then spend it at the Casino's at least then you can spend the winnings as its not dirty money."
stick to your day job....its not dirty money now - and a casino has more security than a bank - you want to "clean" your money in front of 1000 CCTV cameras?????

they are theiving scum, i dont care if they swipe a £10 from a granny or £40million from a bank - scum.

sorry to be so serious now,but think about it at the end of the day no one was hurt.they could get 25 years in jail for this some sh*t burn/beat his baby to death cos he was jealous of the poor thing so he killed him he was 92 days old for **** sake.that evil **** got 22 years.all they took was money no lives,if they had killed or hurt someone i would have a diffenrent reply.

Thieves
They'll be burning it in public shortly and will be picked up soon afterwards. All of them. Temptation to sit tight will be too. Expect big tv, bling alloy and monster spoiler sales to go through the roof! Not more than 20% of the amount stolen will be recovered in the end though.
Can't believe the glorification of common criminals on here.

richie - do you not think that they will have caused mental pain to all the hostages and workers? Getting shot in the leg heals fairly easily. Getting over being held at gunpoint for hours will probably not go away so easily

ahhh.....typical SN. what has this got to do with baby killing???? laws and punishments are not made based on what other people do wrong.
if you want to say baby killer deserves worse i agree......but i dont see the link to this.
they stole by threatening to kill an 8 year old......this isnt patrick swayze with a surf board or val kilmer with a pony tail - these are crooks, lock em up and throw away the key.

I fear that i'm come arcross wrong here saying good luck to them maybe i was wrong but i'm trying to say that compaired to other crimes eg moors murderers,Yorkshire ripper the evil tw@t i that murdered his 92 day old baby and so on its not the worst of crimes stealing some bits of paper.

I just think you are being incredibly naive. You really think this is their first crime? You don't normally start a life of crime with a £40M heist!
Chances are they're either dealers, murderers, people traffickers, or all of the above!

Totally agree with some of the comments, when you've got some big nasty ****** threating you with a gun demanding money, it's not nice, infact half of you would probably fall to the ground like a baby crying!
And for instance if some **** with a cane and hook nicks your keys through the letter box and ***** of with your car, are you going to pat them on the back and say how clever they were because they left no trace and no one got hurt? Are you ****, you'll be on the boards asking people to keep an eye out for your car 'cause some chav's nicked my motor'

Seems a lot of people confuse news television programmes with Hollywood blockbusters and HBO series'........
A friends Dad was kidnapped from a warehouse he used to manage. Good fifteen years ago, but he was tied up in a car boot and dumped in the middle of nowhere after they turned the place over for some cigarettes and cash. He got a bit of a pasting from them, but it was the mental anguish that almost destroyed him and his family.

The Rat Pack, and why launder untraceable notes, that part of the jobs done.
Heard on the radio theres been more arrests and they're prepairing to release an e-fit of the fake policeman...who was apparantly wearing a fake beard,
Not trying to sound funny but it puts a mental picture of a ginger bloke from the game Guess Who in my head, i can't help it

Laundering money involves getting into the banking system from where it becomes legitimate - so it's not laundered yet. There are still enough ways to do it I'm sure. Your description of the fake policeman with the fake beard has got Beadle written all over it for me!!

<walks into Scooby clinic,
"i was wondering, i have a MY05 STi and was wondering if you could spruce it up for me"
"certainly Sir, what were you thinking, 300 BHP? maybe 350 BHP"
"i was thinking maybe more 800BHP"
"well, what are you planning on spending - we have lots of people who want lots of ponnies for about 2-3K, but im afraid with that budget it is a bit tricky, unless you want it to blow up after you turn the key"
"nah, i got a bit more than that"
"well, even 10K is very dodgy"
"do you think £40million will do it?"
"wow, erm, well, certainly Sir, we will fit you in straight away"
Scotty

To show how 'clever' most of these criminals are.
A major coke dealer ( importer and supplier to other big dealers, rather than shifty bloke who stands on street corners ) was arrested near me recently - when he was caught the Police said he didnt have any real record ( a couple of burglaries when he was young etc... ) and they had no idea what he was involved in.
How did he get caught ?
He offered to buy a big palace of a house for £1M cash - the sellers agent was a bit suspicious and informed the police and it went from there.
The really clever criminals are the ones who have no record, dont try and steal huge amounts in one go, and live a frugal lifestyle and pay taxes on a front business - these are the ones the Police will never catch unless they stumble on them by accident.
