beer is now nicely chilled (got 18 cans for tenner, 8 in freezer, 1 already consumed leaves 9, should be enough until the shop shuts at 11

got myself a new helmet, "KBC" composit which half the price of the bell, but scored exactly the same in tests
gloss black, would have chosen the matt black but wouldn't do the same deal
some new gloves, and a neck "windproof" scarf,
looks like i'm ready for the nurburgring
