ed the man in the programme used tobe a reporter for the bbc earning over £100k , started drinking and gambleing , crashing sports cars

ended up putting his family in £250k worth of debt


they sold the house to pay it off and wife kicked him out
now he sleeps on park benches and survives on £56 a week ,
which he spends on alcohol
