Been looking at deisel 306's and older focus's too, need something that gets good mpg and noones gonna nick 
Its goin to be sooooooo crap having something like that after having a scoob

What the capital of culture you mean? Actually you can get the train from behind my house and be in manchester in 20 mins and it only takes 10 mins to get back

The focus 1.8 TDi LX 5d (98) 0-60 in 12.1
57=mpg 
insurance group 5 
The 306 2.0 HDi LX 5d 0-60 in 12.4, mpg=54, insurance group 5
Its a close one, suppose it depends on which can be bought cheaper, im after a real cheap ****
Bag on some rims of ebay, jobs a gooden

Had a 306 before and it was a good runner, obviously not a scoob, but was cheap as chips, i personally quite like the shape too, on the other hand altho ive never really liked the focus, its is a good allrounder, with more space to load things into, so its a close call
