i have no simpathy mate, you have to pay for all the fancy showrooms and people in white collars walking round trying to look busy 
as people who work on shop floors ste, its easy to see where all the money is wasted,!!!!! , you or i wouldn't get away with what they do

dunno ste, I was driving it sensibly on the mway, pulled to the lights at he end and it cut out and had siezed, all levels ok. restarted it after 10 mins and it knocked its **** off

I was that time, conserving petrol as I was plumbing out of it 
Not sure how cheap, but looking at a minimum of 1k with me doing it, and 1500+ if the crank has been scored too, still cheaper than API etc that want 3k+ vat forged rods/pistons will be going in whilst it's in bits, then possible turbo etc/remap can be done safely in the future
