Chalet Trolles | La Plagne | France | chalets in La Plagne | La Plagne chalets

Chalet Hotel Vieux Village | Val D'Isere | France | chalets in Val D'Isere | Val D'Isere chalets

these are end of season prices, in recent years this is what i paid mid season, plus lift pass £110-150, ski hire(boots and skis) £60-100, lessons
all the last 3 can be had on a deal, plus beer money
a bit expensive, but worth every penny
and the people you meet are always on the up, so to speak,

all adds up mate, I know it's a bit on the expensive side, but scoobyclinic want 300-450 for a gasket set! I reckon 150 should kill it!

so...

gaskets 150
oil modine 120
oil filters, running in oil, oil 100
bearings 100 (cheap ACL, should be 180)
headgaskets 90
pistons, rods 380

clutch maybe, other consumables

think a couple of trips to the 'ring will come 1st and garage WILL be built by summer this year, then an extension on the back by the end of the year, will see how funds work out for us both for the end of the next season, always fancied it, but sun holidays have prevailed

if you've got the engine out, a lightened flywheel has got tobe on the list ??,
£150 for gaskets and doesn't include the headgasket

thing is, do you fix it asap or do you wait and slowly pickup all the best stuff and fit them(piston and rods )

Thats what I was thinking shame i want to build mine with the best of everything from the start, but I'm hoping to build the 2.5 this year, and save the closed deck block for when I pop this one. getting the P1 back on the road has to come first
