Couldn't have timed it better too because the fire in the tunnel yesterday will be causing chaos with the deliveries today.

I work for in the UK sales office of a French paper mill for those who don't know, hence the deliveries being affected.

tell me about it, we are expecting a delivery from Castrol France with some urgent test product that has got to get here, be sampled by the labs and then delivered to 3 customers across the country for monday. I may have to come in tomorrow to sort the vehicle out and arrange things (they call me the arranger )

not happy about that if it means I miss some of the game

on a positive note, got my new plug leads and plugs last night and the car is purring like a kitten, it has never driven this smooth

The oil I dropped though had gone brown which was a bit worrying

can you paint on the plaster so soon?

Doors in my house some of them now look slightly lobsided. Thats the prob with a new build as it "settles" things start to appear/happen

I want to get one of them remote control thermostat things so I can control the heating. We havent had it on for months and months, for some reason our house is mega hot even though its an end townhouse Could understand if it was a middle one.

Recently I had to remove the loft cover to allow more cool air in

gonna get the jetwash out at dinner and give my car a clean. Gonna use some corrosive cleaner on it as well. (watered down a lot) apparently it is the dogs danglies, use it neat on alloys though and it just disolves grime

I believe the bare metal look is in these days

Yep sure can as soon as its dry your good to go - I always use decent paint Dulux/crown so even is the plaster absorbs some its still nice and thick - some people paint first with a watered down emulsion but if the paint is decent it goes on nicely

Our house is freezing upstairs
