Not sure if you already know this or not but is handy for new nations and people with 0 tech
The price of tech is not a straight increasing function.
There are steps in price at 5, 8, 15, and 30.
To buy it in the cheapest possible way:
0.0 to 4.5 (4.5)
4.5 to 14.5 (10)
14.5 to 24.5 (10)
24.5 to 29.5 (5)
29.5 to 39.5 (10)
39.5 to 40.0 (0.5)
40.0 to 50.0 (10)
Buying chunks of 10 overall 50 tech cost $860,000
Buying in the system mentioned above overall 50 tech cost $812,225
So new nations get $47,775 extra. Which is about 2 days in taxes for them.
The price of tech is not a straight increasing function.

oohhh thats a lot of money for a smaller nation
i remember when i bought mine i think it took me about 20 days to save for it (from nothing) i think it was my second or third wonder

Eh up Pete no m8 cant install that will get told off
It works for any nation with 0 tech will also be cheaper if you have discounts like gold/microchips etc so your salford nation will be fine - just test it both ways to see the diffrence
Jay who do I send the 3 mill to then?
My other nation just has enough to pay my donation person and aid me and pete tech so need a few inbetween deals
Your crazy buying wonders so early on - you still need to buy churches and other money making stuff yet
Interstate system is a good one for high infra nations
im tempted for the biggy next the Weapons Research Complex - $150,000,000 will be great for war with my uber tech amount - a nuke will do like 400/500 infra damage

i dont think i started buying wonders till i was over 4000 infra

nah main nation is about 4000 inf and pay about 1.4 mill in taxes per day with labour camps so interstate should reduce the infra upkeep on that one quite a bit (8% I think so more profit )
Smaller nation is about 3700 inf and taxes are about 700k with labour camps (decent resources and trade set) so a further 8% is all good
Got the social security on both at present
