nothing has been sorted out car wise either. Drive assist are waiting for the other party to confirm liability, so I informed drive assist that the 3rd party contacted me the previous day confirming the liability and if I wanted them to sort out the vehicle :

not posted in a few days
spent about 4 hours in hospital on wednesday, got 3 lots of different pain killers, 1 that helps me sleep. Yesterday I have had my first day of work sick and today is my second. I feel guilty doing it even though we are closing down today (I have 2 further months but everyone else is the last day)

Its probably been ragged to death! A scooby under a grand = trouble
Why not spend liek 2.5/3k instead and get one that looks a little, errrr more factory standard

just had a call from the vehicle inspectors. Looks like its going to the cally yard in the sky
said they want the salvage company to collect it, they will take pictures and send it to them, and they will then work out a value for it!!!
Told them I would like to buy it back so I dont really want a salvage company taking it as it will just get bashed about
Ive already had an offer for of the parts from clubcalibra, and the parts are already in black ffs,

Seriously mate, please don't go there, even if they are cheap. I'm talking from experience.
My old man was given his 02 Laguna 1.9dci company car as part of his redundancy. Since then it's had two turbos, an intercooler, a gearbox, wiper motors (front and rear) and a whole host of other things have gone t1ts up. My brother refuses to work on "that French piece of ****" any more - even changing the wiper blades is a farce.
Admittedly it's done 125,000 miles but so did his previous car (Mondeo) and his Vectra before that. All they ever needed was oil and tyres!!

Makes me feel better when I look at some of the dreamers on the Autotrader and what they are asking for Imprezas these days.
