Its a white ST 2.2 TDCI, drives very nice surprised how well it delivers the power its just instant. Leather interior etc, only prob is it is an ex cop car hence its white (they didnt do the STs apparently in white). I paid 3.5k for it, from what I have read the engines are good for 300k and its just done half that. Prices vary on these though by about 4k.

Not sold the renault yet which is a good car, its just the fuel economy wasnt much better than the evo yet the performance wasnt even close (apart from the handling which is awesome)

Got someone coming in a minute from Reading to look at mine, it will be gone 1 way or another by next saturday as the garage I am buying the st from will buy it from me for a decent price (not quite private sale price but not too far off)

sorry the st is a 56 plate, think its still a mk3 though, I am going to get it mapped either a bluefin or there is another that gets good reviews on the st site.

The people who came from reading liked the car and they have bought it for the asking price, they will collect it on wednesday. They were the first to see it and loved it, they had looked at a few others but this ticked the boxes for them

bloody hell jay you have done well on both counts there mate, that st sounds like a really good bargain, never saw one in white so i think it may be nice, where did you get it from? lovely drive aint they mate, i just dont know what to do, my wifes job has took a turn for the worse at the moment so i cant really go out spending 5-6k on a car and she is out of a job. i still want to chage hers as well so not sure what to do, going to wait i suppose and see what happens, i want her to take a year out and get into teaching as i think she will be good at it.

Anyway where off to Centre parcs tomorrow and we have Crete to look forward to in 8 weeks, dont think were going to Dubai next year though as we priced it up and it was 7100 haha dont fooking think so haha, looking at going to disney instead and hiring a villa for two weeks

yeah its only white as it was an ex cop car, been serviced every month starts first go, no smoke or anything, and the power is just there straight away, when I went to view it another guy had turned up and he took it out, I was talking to him and he really wanted it but his wife wasnt sure, I took it for a test drive and decided I would have it so put a deposit on it. Car is nice just the bodywork is a bit ropey and on the boot you can see where the stickers were. One owner though!

Weve got our holiday to turkey in 4 and a bit weeks, cant wait decent price for the holiday and its not in the busier parts so should be good for the little one, the pool bar is a big boat so that will keep him amused whilst I have four drinks or five! Also got water slides on site as well so plenty to keep him amused

Bad news about your wife, isnt the lexus worth a bit though? One thing I learned from being made redundant last year is to maybe build a nice nest egg and to buy things when you can cover it if you know what I mean, once reason I have sold the meg for a diesel, makes sense double the economy nearly and should be easier to repair if it goes wrong as the mondeo range share quite a few of the parts. May try to find the focus st3 brakes on ebay for it

Enjoy centre parcs, hope the weather holds out (and the wind drops)

forget the area where it was from(wasnt Hyde), there were others that were more expensive that I liked, but the fact it was the ST and in white drew me to it (the fact it was cheap was a bonus) : The mileage doesnt bother me as its cheap enough to run into the ground, to be honest though I still cant get over how well it drove! Just need to decide if I go bluefin or I think its called roverron (something like that)

Hows the cra going Jay?

Centre Parks was the best holiday we have ever had, it was absolutely brilliant, and no it wasnt a rip off at all, had some of the nicest meals and the chinese was probably one of the best weve had. the kids all loved it, looking at going back late on in the year, wish we had done it sooner

lol car has developed a fault! if I boot it in 4th or 5th or 6th at about 3k rpm it goes into limp mode. Funnily if the engine is cold I can rag it without problem. The fault it gives me can cover a load of problems fuel system related. Changed the fuel filter as part of a svs, and got a new uprated induction hose, and got a new egr as they are prone to failing, and also took the inlet off and cleaned that up (amazing how much gunk was in it) I have done some logs and when the problem happens, the throttle % shows as 0 so I am thinking the ecu is closing down the injectors (which is understandable) and therefore there is a load of diesel in the leak of pipes causing the problem.

I have done a bit of styling, got some Red and chrome ford badges so I have whipped the fron grill off, painted it gloss black and stuck the red badge on, got to do the rear.

I got myself a MKIII Mondeo now Ghia X Estate TDCi 130, impressive economy getting 600miles to a tank!!! well impressed, and its got a good turn of speed, nothing like the Impreza, but still quite brisk. heated leather seats are cool
