Think some people are just finding the running costs to much to justify TBH.
I know ill have another more powerful scoob or maybe an evo in a few years, but im trying to get a few houses under my belt, so with any luck it sets me up nicely for the future, when i can get another 1 and not have to worry all the time about it costing loads to run

No point trying to sell it as needs at least 2k spending on it to get it running right and back on the road and didn't think anyone would seriously want it with all that, plus with the way they devaluate it would render it pretty much worthless, which is a shame after all he spent on it over the years, I feel bad because had he not taken on me and the kids would have probably been able to keep it goinig 
Do you buy houses and rent them out then, by any chance?
I think you're doing the right thing for in the long run, because like you say, you can run something so much cheaper for now, get yourself sorted and start saving and when you have a decent bit behind you, then you can look at ownership once again without the worry of the rising costs
Wish we had that option too...

This is my 1st house thats to be rented out (hopefully 1 of many) 
Its a joint venture between myself and a good friend of mine

I hope you get better tennants than I did on my first house that I let out !! once the pair had left the fookin toilet was like something out of trainspotting, and as for the cooker **** me I havent seen grease like it since the skanky tw@ts !!!
