don't worry about it greg ... the messenger always gets shot regardless of how much you had to do with it.
People here are very quick to forget how the ESC started up, a few cars meeting up every month ... wasn't very successful but over time it got better.
Full respect to the Ace guys for trying to start something up and constantly promoting their meets ... ESC is getting a bit to big for it's boots I think - especially with some of the back hand remarks in this thread.
So their first friday night meet wasn't a success .... so what!! They learn from it and build upon their knowledge for the next one.
Good luck to them.

I'm just standing up for the Ace guys, who I know and get on well with. Nobody else has apart from Greg has and I think they should be cut some slack. Especially seeing as comments have spilled over out of this thread into some of his others.
If you were going to comments about me then start up the I think Gangsta is a ***** thread and you can then post them in there and I will respond accordingly

Wasn't going to resort to personal insults as you did "ESC getting to big for their boots" Not my style my little blue friend
I was simply going to high light that when we turned up no one was there
despite saying it was going to be a massive meet
If it had been posted as a POTENTIAL REGULAR MASSIVE MEET then that would have been different
However when I asked who was organising it I was told they couldn't say and I couldn't understand why
Anyway Greg has explained now and I am sure the event will grow fingers crossed with support from the Japanese Performance Market and those guys who attend the ACE Cafe [Which I must really try to get to]

as I said onwards and upwards

For once my ESC comment wasn't an insult ... hard to believe I know but what I should have put or tried to emphasise was that because the ESC is very successful I think perhaps people sometime expect a meet to be massive and full of cars whereas the reality is that not everyone can be as well organised and supported as the ESC are. Hence this meet not going off with a bang.
Re personal insults ... there were enough of them being thrown about on Saturday night so no need to bring them into any more posts. People really must keep their voices down!
