Nankang NS1's are deadly, the compound is more like plasctic than rubber !

You get what you pay for.

Every 2500 miles????, more like 250,000 miles on that compound.

yeah i find the circa 550bhp in my car strips the tyres no end and after 2500 miles they tend to become a death trap

Christ im shocked !!
How the hell could Avon's end up on this list
When i bought my STI Type R, in ,over a year ago.
It came with Avon's, it was like driving on ceramic
plates.......not only were theyt crap but BLOODY
dangerous an absolute nightmare.

There has been 2 sucessfull court cases over these
tyres here !!!!! (Sold as a performance tyre, which
there NOT )

I've been using Toyo Proxies ever since find them a
very good tyre when dry and good in the wet.
Only down fall is you'd be lucky to get 10,000 miles
from them.

Maybe it's the differn't road surface we have ??????

Niall.

Were talking about normal every day use here.

Not track use or 1/4 timing.
