Why dont you mind you're own business? If they want to speak on their phone, in their car and they want to risk getting a fine or whatever, let them. What the **** has it to do with you? If you're old bill... fair enough, pull 'em over and fine them. If not, keep yer nose out!

Its people like you that cause road rage. He's just going along minding his own business and next minute see someone calling him a w@nker then he signals something similar back to you for being a nosey ****, now you've both taken your eyes off the road too busy looking at what each other is doing... now who is being dangerous..?

My name is Michael Pain... and I am a nosey neighbour

Back on topic...

My mate has an Evo 8 and he always gets blanked by other Evo drivers. He gets well annoyed when I get waves off other Scoobies... but I've had a few waves of Evo owners aswell... he goes ballistic...

I always wave if waved at... I used to wave all the time but got sick of feeling a right plum when you've got someone in the car and you wave and dont get a wave back LOL

My thoughts exactly, I get more waves off Evo drivers lately than Subaru drivers.
But then again I do wave to everybody in a jap motor.
It seems to me that middle aged tw@ts in suits who are driving a Subaru due to their mid life crisis are the most un freindly of the lot.
Apologies if any of you are middle aged scoob drivers wearing suits, but YOU SHOULD START WAVIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks

Sorry Ally, bit of a sweeping generalisation there, didn't mean to offend anyone.
I wear a suit (very) occasionally, court dates and the like...

Well, I was driving home through Darlington last night when a green classic Impreza was coming the other way. He lifted his hand as through to wave. I did the same, only to be greeted with 2 fingers stuck up at me.

WTF was that for ?????

My problem some times is that if someone waves at me, I'm too late to wave back before we've passed. That's how fast my car is

No-one waves up here. We must be miserable bast ards. Tempted to wave but am scared of not being returned the wave and i couldnt handle the rejection. Ill look more closely from now on for any small head or finger movements and then maybe ill initiate a full hand wave in response.

Well, well, and I thought this forum was full of mature individuals...:

Manners come free, or at least that is how I was dragged up....

Keep the verbal abuse out of it guys, no need whatsoever.

Wave if you want, but respond to a waver, surely life is far too short, or we in minority these days?

I'll wave if I see someone in a Scoob or and Evo, both great Jap cars and the drivers deserve a wave in respect of having such a good car. I used to have a sporty Civic and Honda owners were not in to the the waving thing like Scoob owners are.

i wave at all scooby drivers even old ladies and reps in impreza sports - it used to be an unspoken rule to do it. When I had a mini cooper many many years ago it was the same. But now it seems fewer and fewer people are buying into this.

Is it because Subaru are aiming their brand at a much wider audience than the real performance car enthusaist and hitting the rep mobile market that have £18k to spend on a car and it was either an impreza or a vectra?

I have no idea - but i will continue to wave and flash even though most dont reciprocate. Maybe its because they dont recognise a my06 car or maybe they are disowning it cos they hate the front

Whilst waving,is it considered appropriate to accompany it with a high pitched 'oooooh-oooh' type sound?
