As Scrappy9 Says "I was amazed at what I saw, if these people are the cream out of 10,000 plus applicants then god help us."
The scarey thing is, that these type of folk in 10 - 20 years could well be running big companies or even the country.... be very afraid.

Just watched it on the web - excellent.
Price - well the retail will be £10, can you give me £7 per unit?
Are you f**king insane
£10 is £8.50 before VAT.
I can just imagine Virgin retail biting your arm off for a 15% mark up.
Clueless, completely clueless!

I agree with Howies, this years crop of **** crawlers look like a group of buzz word talking **** compared to last year's group.
I reckon the last 3 will be Carl ***, Chubby White guy and the Lawyer girl.

quite right.
god, both teams were an absolute shambles and a fluke win for the boys. what. a. shower. nargis - never seen anything like that before - utterly butterly useless. i was watching through my fingers
research? pricing? bunch of inept show ponies so far.
jo is a total mentalist. either divorced (drove spouse insane) or serially single (drives all partners insane). in HR? well **** me. sugar throws her a lifeline at the end, she throws it straight back. outstanding.
Ansell, Paul (CWG) and Karen for the final three for me.
just FANTASTIC viewing ...

That Alexa girl works at my company, and they've been promoting the programme and telling us all to watch.
Call me old fashioned, but would you want to actively promote one of your staff who wants to leave their job with you to join another company??
She gets booted off soon, if she hasn't already!

The thing that cracks me up is the really arrogant ones who some across with all the 'I'm 5hithot at my job, I'm the man' sort of BS - if you're that good, why have you left to try and work for Sugar ? or are you just hoping for a career presenting daytime TV out of it ?
If I was Sugar I'd base my decision on a much more professional criteria - all the blokes have a 100m space hopper race and first across the line wins, all the women give a bl0w job, and the best wins ( points deducted for crying or looking like a man in drag ).
The man and woman could then compete to see who could get their head furthest up 'Sir Alans' ****.

Ex-MG HR woman (jo) deserves to be kicked in the head by a strong horse, multiple times. The her cold dead carcass strung up from the London Eye for all to see.

what IS it with all the blubbing?? there was samuel looking like he was forcing the tears for the camera, tuan throwing a red-eyed rod and jo welling up at every opportunity.
we're all used to birds doing an occasional gavin hastings when under pressure at work but this is bizarre. men of the apprentice! where is your dignity? your stiff upper lip? you're a disgrace to your gender!
are we breeding a nation of girly-men? whatever happended to quiet professionalism? discuss.

so much is foced by the producers though...they will have an off camera chat with someone who will say something they like...then they'll grab a camera and get them to repeat it...out of context and with editing = they look like fools!
i was on reality TV show a while ago and they asked me to repeat loads of stuff i had said off air for the camera....they edited it and i came accross very differentlyto how i had intended!

There isn't one professional salesman on there. If one of my junior salesman made a presentation to a buyer like either of the two last night, I'd sack him straight away and I guarantee he wouldn't start blubbing when I did.
Too much entertainment and not core skills being demonstrated. Still compulsive viewing though, if more irritating than before.

ive really enjoyed watching this as i didnt see the first series, but as mentioned earlier, if this is the best lot out of 10000 applicants, it doesnt say much about the calibre of people AMS would have working for him...
i could do a better bloody job for half as much...!!!

It was on again tonight.
Jo, who Alan describes as a bloody nutter, is almost unwatchable.
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!!
And tell me you cannot get a dinner jacket in London for less than £75 - course you can!

Don't they have Oxfam shops round there ? Nice DJ £15
How can someone spend almost 3 hours discussing how to go about obtaining 10 items?
They are beyond belief.
Am I mistaken or , did both teams have a problem using the yellow pages ?

What got me is they spent 3 hours poncing and not one of them thought to use a phone or the web,
the asian guy for all his faults actually managed to get some of the items very cheaply,
cant believe the girls struggled to get a tyre!!!
I think the next round of fireforks will be with the sales manager (ruth??) and loopy jo,
mind you even AS thinks shes a nutter, but admitted so is he,
at the end of the day, he,s not looking for a whiz kid or an analyst, he,s loking for someone similar to him, remember he,s a leader not a manager, leaders want people like them.

Point taken Imlach.
That's what annoyed me about last night's prog. Not enough info about the actual list. I was left wondering what the rules were. I got the impression they were told they could NOT use the net. Even so, I'd have thought they would have dived straight into the Yellow Pages and got stuck in phoning around , preparing a list and a route then off into the wide blue yonder to do the deed. Not pontificating about strategies etc.
