Moral of the story is: If you have prodrive don't get it dyno'd just believe that you are pushing 305 bhp/300 torque and that will be enough .....

On the PPP packs here are a few we have seen run on our dyno. I can only speak for our dyno & it may read better or worse than someone elses:

Sti 7 272 worst 286 Best

Sti 8 262 worst 296 best

Sti 9 301 Good !!

A lot of factors at work here :

Dyno & conditions used to certify initial BHP [100 octane, best exhaust etc ]

Fuel used on initial certification tests

Fuel used by previous owners

Engine assembly tolerances, exhaust mating flange accuracy etc etc

Driving habits

etc etc

Not all bad but some cars just dont deliver. No ones fault just how it is. Not looking to fight with anyone just recording some cars that have passed through our hands.

The main thing is that the customer is happy with the car once works are complete.

I for one am very pleased with the works undertaken by WRC and will recommend them to anyone.

My god I don't believe you did answer my question properly.

Since you didn't answer 298/305 gives 0.977 to three decimal places 335 over 0.977 = 343 to the nearest PS.

Is that better since you obviously couldn't do it yourself just wanted to give you a chance.

Hi Reano

Glad your happy with the Package WRC Tech have done,
I also have had some bits done by them, and cannot
fault the way our car drives......
on there dyno my figures were 376bhp/365bhp? if i remember right, Chris reckoned he could have got over the 380, with more mapping, both Allen and Chris loved the way it drove, and have said do not do anymore it will spoil the car, spools up early and keeps pulling ....

Like you said not everyone is 100% and some things do not go
according to plan......... but the end product is what matters

by the way, week later on a RR day on one of the runs she hit
392/371 ............. so whose dyno's are accurate .........

I've used WRC on 3 separate occasions and they have more
or less got the figures quoted and would and have recommended
them to others .........

Standard internals

I have been told by a ex- Prodrive mechanic that 380ish is a good stopping point, any more then possibly you may have internal problems.....possibly...

At the end of the day you can have a standard car and still have problems
so what the f**ok

Just for people to know, IIRC, 1 BHP = 1.017 PS.

So whatever you BHP figure is multiply it by 1.017 to get the PS figure.
