I always do. But it takes me about 5mins to adjust to the car....position of the switches, the feel of the clutch. but what i do recomend to everyone is to never drive the car hard when changing cars, leave a few days. I was driving my scooby after 2 weeks not driving and I ended up in a really bad accident (my fault, as I pushed the car to fast around the corner, thinking it was my fwd Civic)

Yup the indicators thing for me.
Been driving JDM's or 4 years now so I only do it occassionally as I have become ambi-indicatus, but I also do the opposite and put the wipers on our other two 'UK' cars.
The motorways are the worst, especially when you are accellerating for a gap. You don't end up indicating your intentions.
Bit like a BMW

The last couple of cars I've had have had 6-speed gearboxes, and I often catch myself about to try to put my wife's car (or the work van) into 6th when it only has five gears I actually did do this in my mother's Yaris, putting it into reverse at about 60MPH. It didn't seem to do any damage fortunately...

My dad changes from his '02 WRX to my mum's Volvo V70 D5 (auto) pretty much everyday, so he adjusts pretty quickly, but sometimes when he's tired in the morning and he's in the subaru, he'll just sit on the accelerator pedal waiting for it to change up! He also has this problem the other way round with overtaking/pulling out gaps!

i hate the petrol pumps and pulling up on the wrong side
once had a police scooby behind us at traffic lights, couldnt help turning round in our seats and having a good luck and getting excited. It must of got a call and had to turn round and give it a few revs for our benefit i think Strange how people in the street where eyeing up our car whilst we was more interested in the official one behind us

Impreza vs Fabia: Nearly break the stalks off the Impreza trying to turn the windscreen wipers on. Forget the rear wiper doen't turn off and leave it wagging like a friendly puppy for the entire journey.
N'Astra hire car vs Citroen AX: Local rubbish wagon pulled over into my lane whilst I was alongside. Fair play, they did it methodically. Slam hand into steering wheel boss attempting to sound the horn, hurt hand as no horn there on the AX, panics! Hit's brakes, frantically "researching" all available stalks and switches. Rubbish wagon misses car and completes manouevre just as I find the horn. <phew>
