why are you guys paying over £60 for flame kits? Are you mad?!!
My brother is "Evolution Foundry" on ebay. He sells full kits for £35!!! You could even save on the postage by picking them up from Wickford.
Just have a look at his feedback.

Group buy anyone?

Regards
Steve

having said that, to coin the phrase "Am I bovvered? does this face look bovvered?"

Just bought a PCB etch kit, so my flamers will be professional quality instead of using strip board, be easier to make, quicker and better all round

Plus my prices INCLUDES fitting no contest really and uses a better quality components, ie illuminated switch

I'm not trying to annoy anyone here btw. Just letting you guys know that my bro makes these flamer kits and he's wiping everyone out of the market on ebay. He imports the coils from China himself, so can offer much cheaper prices. And no they aren't some chinese tat either, they are proper sports coils that gave a better spark than the £18 lucas coil from halfords.

Anyway, sorry if I casued any offence. It was not my intention.

My coils aren't Chinese tat

and I continuously research components to get the best parts available, ie coils, spark plugs etc

Just had a thought mate, not sure what sort of switch you've got, it may be a non latching push to make, or in other words, you may have to keep your finger on it to flame up, if it is, let me know and I'll sort you out a switch, or I'll route out the wiring diagrams so it can be wired into the bright switch

cheers for all your help today Paul. I owe you a big one. Spark plug now in place, but still no flame but then i think this is due to me not running the car for a while.

PS the switch looks well

No worries mate!

might not flame when standing still, so you'll have to get it tested mate and back on the road, (private roads of course )

oh yes, they are still the same price, £60 fitted, was going to up the price, but decided not to, my conscience got the better of me

Redlightning, you're absolutely right, unless you have a remap like Tiny or Robbroy, you won't get flames in neutral, only when you're driving
