Simple answer - The 130i was £4,000 more expensive to buy, 10 mpg worse (at least), and 10% more torque.

They do a 120D M sport (there is an M sport option on all the 1 series)

Hi Mate,

They are the style 142 7 x 17-inch front and 7.5 x 17-inch rear 5 spokes with 205/50 R17 (front) 225/45 R17 (rear) tyres.

Cheap upgrade on the sport (£385 inc vat), so it would have been daft not to.

Well you know me, I like to be different

Having been averaging high 30 mpg from that little citroen, it brings home how nice it is not to be pishing money away on fuel for the day to day commute.

The 3 series does outsell the Mondeo but the Mondeo is a bigger car now, nearly as big as the old 5 series.

The same comments have been said about the new 3 series though.

Nothing wrong with being a popular car though. I was only stirring.
