Just saw the badged up FQ400, guess its not a right off. I made my dad pull up next to him at the traffic lights. I went to town on the old staring at him though ..corrrr the guy looked like a young student and if i didnt know any better i may have been tempted to put my foot down... Even sat right next to him its hard to see its a cop vehicle.. It defo has a tiny camera (bout size of ya fist on the back shelf) and another right next to the reversing mirror aswel as the allcocated sensors/vascar wiring... Anyway its defo a cop car cos its kept way to clean and we all know they give their cars a blast down every day before going out onto petrol lol.. Dam polishers pml.. Guess its the subaru they smashed..

I don't think this car is a genuine FQ400.
Where are the little shark fins on the top of the roof and the black team dynamics alloys that the 400 came with??
I wouldn't want to find out though.

I have read this thread with interest. There seems to have been alot of speculation as to the type of evo this vehicle is.
All of the major manufacturers now have 'police spec' vehicles. Trying to compare these to commercially availible versions is impossible. As a rule 'Police spec' will be the highest possible performance with the lowest possible 'bolt ons', therefore a higher horsepower engine from a manufacturers range fitted to a lower spec vehicle is not uncommon.
This is usually because the manufacturer heavily subsidises the cost of the car to get their vehicles seen being used by the police, therefore they are heavily stripped down to keep costs lower.
