Banny, call in and see me if your passing, we have a Dyno Dynamics graph of a P1 running a VF34 at 372hp, it was running very large amounts of boost and was surging all over the place. It would have been alot happier running 1/2 a bar less and about 350hp. The owner however, decided to upgrade to an APS SR40 and left with 397HP and about 1.6 bar after his Motec had been remapped. If your ultimate goal is 400 then a 20G is a better option than the VF34/35 or TD05-16G.

No this one belongs to one of the boys from south wales, he only just had back from being built, think by API.

What rollers has your's been on?? Have you been on Powerstations??
Think i might try somewhere else as well just to compare. Was expecting around 330 to be honest, the only real difference between our cars is you have Headers and Lighten Pulleys

consider changing your headers or getting your standard ones ported and wrapped , david @ APi does this,he's in warwickshire ish
IMO you need bigger injectors for starters and looking at your power curves maybe a tweak to the mapping
take it to interpro nr bristol, thornbury . . . mine made 347bhp there and was losing boost, had slight problem with a jubilee clip trying to fall off lol, which it did the day after . . .

I would suggest going staight with the 20G, it'll save money in the long run and still makes for a driveable 2l. That and you'll make power at lower boost which is always good for things in general.

Hi

Yep .. TEK3
All the engine work including the induction was done by Harvey Smith and the Subaru garage he uses in Darlington .. their have been some posts about it in Third party dealers if you do a search

Pretty sure he got the induction kit from Roger Clark Motorsport ( don't know the diameter ... sorry )

No probs with the MAF as yet .. car was mapped by Andy Forrest

That result suprises me. I have a VF28 with 440's and a sytec 255 lph fuel pump using a standard TMIC and I got 330 at scooby clinic. Although it was mapped by Andy F to 1.5 bar. Also and RCMS manifold had TSL 3in decat system

mine got 312 bhp and 295 ftlb 5000 rpm 1.4 bar initial figure was disapointing from mapper and me, confused as all mods needed were present, put it down to low fuel in tank causing warm up, or bad fuel was v power.???? injectors 440s but with fuellab reg.

Holy thread revival batman

But whilst we are on the subject, how's this for a VF34.

2.1 stroker with wrapped RCM headers, full 2.5 inch system, front mount, 850cc injectors, Alcatek ecu with all the add ons including the Toucan screen.
