The Posers Cruise to Southend Seafront

SATURDAY 1 APRIL 2006

Meeting in Tescos car park Basildon ( Located on the Mayflower retail park A127 London bound ) from 7pm , leaving for the seafront @ 8pm

Come along & join the fastest growing Scooby crew in the country

Coming round the M25 you want J29 onto A127 Southend bound , follow this along till you come to the Basildon/Wickford slip (A132) . Take this slip down to the bottom go right around the roundabout & double back up the other side onto A127 now London bound .




Take the next exit off A127 into Mayflower retail park. Take second exit @ roundabout & go past McDonalds on your right . Follow this down to the bottom of the road & Tescos entrance is on the left , go past petrol & continue down to far end of car park .




Leave Tescos & TURN LEFT @ FIRST EXIT LONDON BOUND A127 .




Take next slip then first exit @ roundabout , get in right hand lane & take third exit @ roundabout back onto A127 Southend bound .




Get in right hand lane & turn right @ lights then regroup when you reach the seafront allowing room for those @ the back .




Drive all the way along the front & double back @ the Thorpe Esplanade roundabout

1. No doughnuts , flamefests or letting us hear how nice your exhaust sounds in Tescos carpark . This is our home please don't abuse it.

2. No lane weaving & please indicate if you must change lane mid convoy .

3. Be ready for the "Underpass" slow down & launch ~ police traffic car permitting .

Ditto @ traffic lights .

4. Radios set to Channel 1 .

ahhhhhh, my perfectly laid plan has fallen apart.

i had planned to pick my car up from the body shop this morning all finished, take advantage of the last saturday before the hose pipe ban an wash it, then i bought a clay bar which i was gana do for the first time, the use some carnubua wax that i just bought to polish it up, making look stunning, then come down to my first poser cruise of the year.............. but NO!!!! the damn car ain't ready from the sprayer so i gotta wait til monday to get it then wait a whole week before i get time to wash it, then wait a whole 3 weeks til the next posers cruise!

Hopefully the spray shop will tell you NOT to wash/polish it for atleast 1 month give the paint time to bed in??
as that was i was told when i had my BEETLE Painted,
Didnt listen wash car after 2 weeks & apon polishing IT ALL THE PAINT WAS COMING OF ON THE CLOTH
