I feel so ashamed even looking at his pictures..Maybe he should re-advertise this car and and on the ad maybe put ''comes with free ironing board attachment''

I feel ashamed being associated with you lot who have nothing better to do than pick holes in a guys attempted sale.
I really hope he's a member on here, there are plenty like it around........

Why dont those of you who want to ask questions nip down to your local nipper gathering tonight and ask why they have silly wheels, dump valves, big spoilers etc..........I would love to see the reactions you get

I asked the first question
'drive the car when you pay...that way were both safe' .... do you reckon?
His answer gives an indication of the type of seller he is. Let's face it, you'd have to be mad to buy this from ebay, but to buy it without a test drive as well?
I reckon muppets like this are fair game when they are selling goods under false pretences. Anyone who has their history marked as private immediately arouses suspicion and he's blatantly lied about the performance of the car.

Are you interested in buying the car? If not mind your own business.....or perhaps you actively go through your local paper every week ringing people up to moan about their Ads ..... car boot sales at the weekend, in shops during the week ......... or is it just when you have a keyboard in front of you and feel nice and safe?

EASY! - It is just some banter and hardly worth getting out of shape over
![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Scoobynet is about banter and pub type talk apart form the techie stuff - a good mix across the board - this subject/car would get discussed in this way down the pub or sat round with mates if say the car in question was sat outside i have no doubt about it.
This is Scoobynet, the car is a scoob. It is being discussed and the general consensus is that the ad is misleading and the car looks a bit max power.
So What, no harm done.
as for your keyboard warrior comment - that cuts both ways does it not

Each to their own.

I think my previous post answers your question.
No I'm not going to buy it.
And no I don't ring people up to waste their time. Perhaps you think this guy is a top chap, who's selling a really nice motor, I don't however and as ebay gives you the option of asking the seller a question I am exercising my right to do so. He has 3 other cars for sale at the moment, so he's not just some poor guy trying to sell his pride and joy, he's a bent trader trying to stitch people up.
As I said, fair game in my eyes.

I dont have an issue with discussing stuff on here, its the correct place to do it..... There does however seem to be an increase in the number of people actively seeking out cars for sale on E-bay with the intention of getting 30,000 people on the sellers back. Can you imagine how fed up you would be if you were trying to sell something and the same happened to you.
The car may actually be in better condition than half the junk this place has to offer,........(tongue in cheek comment)

I usually look for 'old' 80's bikes DT's, XT's, ER's, KDX's rather than cars as i get enough of them on here

I did ask the guy if the spoiler could be removed without leaving too many holes in the bootlid and he offered to remove it fill the holes and spray the lid which i thought was pretty ok.

Personally, i think it's fair enough to highlight Ebay sales on here:
1. more advertising for the seller if they are good;
2. crucifixion and removal if they are bad.
Simple.

He's also selling a nice van with this in the description.......
"THIS VAN HAS BEEN IN PROBATE SO IT HAS NO DOCUMENTS AT ALL"
I also notice it doesn't have an engine or gearbox.
