It's only the bad experiences that get talked about. How boring is it to say a nice policeman pulled you over? I'd say I've had maybe 15 - 20 experiences / situations with the police and only one has been less than satisfactory.

One policewoman on duty at the Ring of Steel in The City stopped me and asked me where I had had my Impreza valeted!

It is just the bad experiences with police and every other thing that happens in this world that we remember unfortunatly. Which is why this sort of stuff gets talked about and they get slated.
Maybe I am just really p1ssed off as any bloke would be at the fact it was a little evil bitch that did this to me in the first place. Although I am in soooo much pain still I know it could have been alot worse in these days of stabbings and people being hit with bottles.
On the police front I am still really annoyed at the way it was dealt with and how I was spoken to I thought I would share a nice and maybe lucky experience that happened a couple of weeks ago.
I am out for an early morning drive on a sunday giving it the beens down a nice quiet 2 lane road and looked down for a moment when I looked up again filling my rearview mirror is a police car with all lights flashing. God knows how he came up behind me so quick without me seeing. My hert sank as I looked back down and realised what the actual speed was I was doing. So backed off and indicated to pull over and the car moved along side me and mr policeman looked at me shook his head and mouthed slow down at me, then smiled and shot off in front of me. So not sure weather he was in a hurry to get somewhere else or he just though that it was quiet and he'd give me a break.
But a good police story I think.
I am a very lucky man I thought

Dave Honey,

All I can say is well done. Nice to see that there still some sort of community spirt around. Nowadays, people just seem to turn the other cheek, ignore things whilst telling themselves "Its not my problem". Then, when it is there problem, they wonder why no one is there to help them.

As to the police, well they are in a no win situation. When you get caught doing something wrong, you hate them, then when you need them, they turn up late or what ever, you hate them. I dont feel its the force as such, just people in the whole. There are good and bad in every job, so the police force are no different.

I hope your friends in the pub are okay, and not too hurt. My brother runs a bar and I know all to well the problems they have.

Once again, well done.

M.

sorry but bollocks. Consistantly I have refused to jump on the police bashing bandwagon but after years of dealing with absolutely shocking ineptitiude from the work shy lazy self serving ******* who make up the police force I have had enough. The care only about making their own lives easier and protecting each others backs. When ever I have been the victim of crime I have had no help what so ever. Luckily for me I have enough friends I can call on for help becuase the police never have and never will do sweet FA. I was arrested recently for a crime that never took place without anyone making an accusation against me. I called the police becuase there was a person so drunk they passed out and I was arrested for assault and spent the night in the cells. First time in my life I have ever been arrested and I was not allowed to phone a soliciter see the police code of conduct or have a glass of water all night. In the moring they just said sorry we made a mistake bye. Frankly I have learn't about how nasty the police really are and you can all rot in hell as far as I am concerned.

The police force is a job that attracts complete arseholes which is why most of them are. I've met drug dealers and theives with more honour and honesty.

What p!sses me off about this kind of thing is when Police's inadequate response is "sorry, we don't have sufficient resources" and at the same time, we hear how there have never been more Police on the streets. Where the fvck are they? Sitting in their cars eating donuts? I NEVER see a policeman around, just the CCTV cameras they've installed on the high street. AFAIK, CCTV cameras are pretty rubbish at chasing baddies and breaking up fights.

Well.
To fill you all in on a damage report and get away from slating the old bill for the moment for their lack of help.
I am in even more pain today and have been to the doctors and then sent to hospital for an x ray and it turns out the little bitch has cracked two of my ribs.
No wonder I am in so much pain.

Ouch! It may be worth contacting the police again, explaining the situation and see if things are different in the cold light of day.

If you have witnesses and broken bones, you can get some money out of the viscious little slag.
