Ordered my Cayman S back in December - scheduled for a June build... can't wait. Yes it's expensive but on a lease purchase it isn't as bad as the £47K price tag might suggest - good'ish predicted residuals help.
My mistake was taking one for a test drive. Couldn't think of anything else after it and it made my Evo VIII feel like a tractor when I got back in it to drive home. Might not be the quickest car avalable - if it was all about pure speed we would all drive Caterham's or Radicals but it isn't. The refinement, handling, steering and noise (although my Scoob WRX made a nice noise the Evo does not) and performance made the Cayman a great car for me. But each to their own, I was happy with the WRX when I had it and the Evo until I test drove the Cayman.
I don't think I'm stuck up, ever since being a kid I wanted a Porsche so I'm well pleased.
