Why were you shy about admitting to driving a BMW, Mr. 4.4 V8 daily driver? Is it not a 'classic'?

Not meant to be practical. Anyway, one big luxurious car for shopping, long journeys, driving in crap weather etc. and one one for pure fun. Any other way is, ultimately, a compromise. I ge the best of both worlds. The impreza is fun and practical however it's no-way near as fun as the westie and no-way near as nice an comfy as the 7 series. Fortunately I don't do high mileage else the bmw would HAVE to go, it drinks too much (sound familiar )

I've gone from Imprezas to a similar ideology.
Audi A3 for family transport and motorway work, with a Clio Cup for track and the daily commute.
I do miss my Imprezas but life goes on!
