dear stickymicky,
i am aghast at your tale. using my holy mystical powers, both policemen now resemble peter stringfellow and will spend the rest of their lives driving the battered indian tata from that old peugeot 206 advert.
blessings,
holy ghost
ps - when you reach the pearly gates, just ask for trevor, the-one-with-the-squiffy-eye.

Just as a matter of interest. Did they produce identification documents? Did they prove they were who they said they were?
On another point, speaking from a female point of view, if two guys had asked me to get into the back of a strange vehicle, I'd have legged it.
Strange behaviour. Whatever the circumstances.

I would write a letter to his Chief Constable complaining about his agressive and bullying behaviour and ask him if he is actually concerned about police relations with the general public, or don't we matter any more!

IPCC complaint posted today
i will answer a few questions
they did not produce ant ID although they did look "real"
they searched me in the back of the car by asking me to empty my pockets, this is quite hard in the back of a car and i also had to hold up my feet so they could check my socks for "a knife" after i emptied my pockets (bit of tissue and 70p) this ******* then dived in with his hands and checked them for himself
