Dunno what he was thinking about going that slow,i've told him that bend can be taken flat, he is normally playing catch up most of the time, looks like i will have to provide more lessons and give him back his glasses, fancy missing that big white van, that is unforgiveable, i have explained when they got pictures of cameras on the side it means trouble, Kids they just don't listen i will give him lines tonight that will teach him

Exclamation

"when you have the power that these cars have it is very difficult to keep under the speed limit, at the end of the day thats what the car is all about,"

I can not believe PSL hasn't quoted this. Yes he is opinionated and repetitious, but often it's the stress of not being listened too.
Apparently you are a newly licensed driver, why oh why buy a scooby?
With the attitude of a driver as quoted i would expect you to be 18 and dangerous behind the wheel of a scooby. At 31 statements like 'its difficult to keep these cars under the speed limit' are juvenile, inexperienced thoughts.
Sorry, but you are not ready for a scooby yet.
At 30, i have only had a scooby for a year and i still get that quiver of yeehaa! every now and again, and that's with 12 years driving experience and only 1 sp30 in all that time, (2 years ago in the wifes bloody C3 1.4 diesel). Experience gained in slower cars is why insurance etc. etc. is so high for things like scoobs. Sadly you have come to this driving lark later than most 17 year olds. It is no slur to your driving ability to ask you to realise you are only as experienced as a novice driver. A scooby was not a wise, although much loved, investment. It is costing you dear already.
As far as reducing the worst possible outcome, suggest letters from your boss regarding driving at work. And be very apologetic.
Good luck
Stay safe.
Lexx.

Hang on. I put my lights on in tunnels. At least people can see where that rumble is coming from

We will endevour to do our best in educating him, being a "novice Driver" he is somewhat a slow learner, we have shown him what the right pedal does, we are working on the other two pedals, when they let him out i told him things have changed since he was a test pilot, told him they have cameras, Brownie 127's he asked, what chance have we got, will he listen ?? well being totally deaf & dumb we are finding it difficult, we have tried Brail and sign language but all he does is mumble and dribble, he is a sorry state, i blame the authorities they shouldn't have let him out.

See what you lot have done ! he as removed all his threads now, and gone away to lick his wounds, very upset he is, only asked a civilised question and got all this crap, he could end up back inside over this traumatic experience, we have tried telling him to watch which children he plays with, alas he doesn't understand.
