Since my last RR at 340bhp/362ft/lb. The car has had another map, and more modifications, and do know the car is significantly quicker since the aformentioned figures, and breathing very well at the top end revs, which is where is was struggling previously. I would be very suprised if its not around the 380/380mark.

I have come close on a couple of occasssion to get it RR'd again just for my interest. And if anyone was seriously interested in the car, and felt that RR numbers are important I would be happy to RR it again. But from the last 2 experiences of RR'd I have lost faith in what they quote a little, as within reason you can make a car hit a certain figure on the day. For example the car on the road will boost more than on the rollers, and if I set the boost target for the rollers at 1.35bar, I would expect very hansom figures. (many a thread and discussion on this topic)

Over the years I have owned 5 scoobies now all modified, and this one would destroy all of them.

I know you don't get money on the modifications but think about this:
All work having covered 10K miles or considerably less.

Engine £6000
Turbo £1000
Breaks £2500
Intercooler £300
Injectors £300
Apexi FC £400
Type R shocks and lower springs £500
Filter £ 100
Headers £300
Exhaust £500
Spoiler £500
Splitter £200
Wheels £1000
Mapping £500
Gearbox £ 700
Clutch+Fit £500
Pump and Reg £200
Gauge and pod £100
This is generally parts only.
Time and effort - Priceless
Base car very clean 1998 UK turbo £ 5-7K

So minimum spend of 22K for the sale price of £8995

Mmmm thinking about this properly be quick before I change my mind - Seriosuly.!

This car is QUICK
I drove this car after the RR run at G-Force, and although it felt quick it wasn't worth taking it over 5,500rpm. In this tune the RR run confirmed 340BHP and 362lbft.

Since then Rob has done further mods and mapping and I drove it again last night WOW!!!! it's so different now.
The redline comes round oh! so quickly and it's seriously going.

My Neck and Buttometer calibrated this car as cracking at least 370BHP/370lbft

I don't know why I'm saying this as Rob's a fool to sell it....
But then I say that about every car he owns and so does his wife, and his brother's and his Dad and just about anyone else that knows him the guy's just barking !!!!!

I really wish I'd seen this before I bought MY99 UK Turbo.

A few grand more and I could have had a car with a truely awesome spec. If you fancy doing a deal with a relatively standard UK Turbo in DBM let me know.

Good luck with the sale though.

Cheers Scott ... I think So there you have it folks don't take my word for it thats its quick, this is man that already has a dyno proven 310bhp Classic. With weather like it is at the moment, I must admit my urge for a 2 seater soft top is dropping away a little now.

Rob,
Bear in mind my old man may be in the market for a Scoob. He would prefer a nice tidy genuine wagon, but he may be tempted with the right saloon if there's a PX in the offing...
