I know there is ALWAYS faster car out there but listen.........I've had a long lunch, don't like civic's cause they are a waste of space and couldn't care if you got 300bhp out of it......it still won't go anywhere.........
You'll leave lots of rubber on the road and will have a members card a quick-fit
******* Civi type-r's........
Go buy an ST

i bought this honda civic to save money. getting married does not come cheap. this is alot cheaper on insurance. 350 miles to 40 litre tank. and this is cruising about 80-85mph down motorway. iwas going to sell it next year to buy a 05 sti scoob. but then i thought. why not go for something diffrent like a boxster 3.2s or nissan skyline etc. i spoke to someome about tuning these civics and that got me thinking. its something diffrent and not many pple have one which is supercharged. dont know about you lot but there are alot of people that subarus by me. pass at least one every day.

Coming from a gimp with a user named after a cartoon featuring 2 dikes, a stoner, a bloke with a necker-chief and....oh I get it, a scooby-doo.......very clever.
If you hadn't realised numb-nuts, alloy and I were ahving some banter.
If you choose to go for a lowly Boxter because it can mess your mouse up or a skyline which is another fantastic car, go for it.
It's a public forum and even though some replies say go for it, others are saying don't bother.....for your benefit.
I originally said not to go for a type-r because you need to spend $$$'s to get decent power.........and I will stand by it and the fact it will never perform outstandingly as it's a FWD.
I'm not having a go at FWD's i'm just saying there's better to be had out there.
Go for a skyline, at least you'd be getting usable power.
I've got much better things to do, I've just got time to look on here.
So get off your high horse sonny....

it would of been at r34 gtr. i have had a look at a 911 . i can get one of them for a reasonable price. 22k upwards. but then i can get a noble m12 for that price aswell. if dont like the ctr when its been supercharged i can always sell it and buy somthing else.

Yeah if your sticking with the CTR then definatly supercharge it, no point pursuing NA tuning as starts getting big money for little horespower . Sumo power have a charged CTr dont they which is a tarmac terrorist. I just dont think you can beat a Scoob or EVo for Uk roads, ok on motorways there are faster cars but a and b roads you'd be pushed to keep with a mild spec'd well driven Scoob

Not a problem at all
As you will well know then after spending 9k on your WRX and getting those kind of figures, at least you could use the full 340 bhp......
But trying to get anywhere near that in comparison in a FWD is going to be a real test.
Good luck with it by all means and yes, it will be very different and it's nice to be unique but just think about it, thats all i'm saying
