Here's my wash method, although not how I did it in this film cleaning the car
Rinse the car with the hose first off to loosen any residue
2 buckets now
megs car shampoo in one, clear water in the other.
lambswool mit, start at the roof and all windows
rinse
bonnet, boot and spoiler
rinse
sides down to the knee line and back of boot
rinse
knee line down
rinse then dry with my trusty drying blade
on the wheels I use megs wheel cleaner if they're really dirty, otherwise its a good scrub with the new brush
rinse
Go for a little drive to shift any standing water in the brakes
Got to do the inside of mine tomorrow, and use autoglym fast glass and interior shine for that bit, good stuff.
Just need to work out how to get rid of the swirl marks from the previous owners now.

ive spent every night this week individually taking off t-cutting/claying/waxing my wheels, there is still some corrosion on them but they are ok for the time being till they get refurbed.
does anyone know of a good wheel refurbisher round here?
and what are the prices like per wheel?

yes to above - dont forget to use 2 buckets!! - the polish depends on how much time is on your hands - if it was me I would try the Megs 3 stage system - (3 bottles in box deep paint cleaner / deep polish / then the wax - )
look here to see what I mean - about half way down
http://www.performancemotorcare.com/...OVMTC=standard
once youve done this you would only need to keep the wax topped up every month or so.
You also have about 50 other options but I would be here all day - if your still unsure have a look on here - it has every guide under the sun

edited to say use a lambs wool washmit for your paint - the microfibre is for wheels and cill etc.
regards
Justin

Just a thought guys, but how much is a porter cable? and how much use are you going to individually get out of it?
would it be a good idea to get a club fund going for one?

I can get one over here from roughly $155 via a friend from the states but then it involves buying a converter from 240v to 110v from Screwfix etc
