You have to buy an converter anyway as the unit is only a 110V you will also need a compatible plug (as the unit has a 2 prong one) and an extension lead for the converter so that will add a further £50 to the overall price

As for clubbing in - sounds like a good idea but for me It will be a extra income earner with the prospects of me becoming a full time detailer if I am good at it so I will need my own - also you will need lots of pads if your clubbing together.

Normally you would only use the PC once a year to sort swirls out etc but it can also be used to apply wax every 3-4 weeks so your usage would be low

You seem to have the same idea as myself Justin

I also knew the other points you made on your post but didn't want to start confusing people

How about we chip in as a club for one, with wah as the main holder, using our cars (for people who don't have the time or inclination) as practise. Others can borrow it when the need arises, free if they've chipped in, small charge if they haven't. Cost of pads and wax to be bourne by the persons whos car is being done.
??
any good?

You can certainly use my car to practice on.

I'll contribute to the costings, of course.

it's a good job you know me mate

Don't forget folks that this effect on my car was done only by hand so you can imagine the better quality and finish you would get with using the Porter Cable

Here are a couple of popular choices:

"youre not going to wash the car again are you?"

"why does the exhaust have to be so loud?"

- you then get - "who do you love the most - me - the car or charlie (the parrot) - obviously I said the parrot

another is "this car does my head in" thats normally when she copts for the clutch judder or I leave the window lock on
