I think from the front that's how it will look.
It's got the Seat Ibiza front grill similar to the 06 model, and that's to be the Subaru family look.

3 and 5 door hatchback, seems to be coming up more and more in topics. I prefer the saloon idea rather than another hot hatch label.

For the rear, it's still along way from the finished article. It won't look like that.
I really hope not.

They may drop the top mounted intercooler for a front one. That would depend on the competition for Group N Rallying, and if they think can keep ahead of the EVO's with a top mount.

Well I have real problems with some major aspects of the design. The AutoExpress mock-up looked OKish until you got to the c pillar and then it as if somebody just bent the whole up thing by 30deg and it looked stupid.

But one of the reasons why I wanted a scooby and not a bloody chavs hot hatch is that it is a proper saloon with 4 doors and boot that you can actually use. I mean, OK I am a bit of an old fart (40) and play golf, but I can get two sets of golf clubs, trolleys etc, in the boot without thinking about it (try that in a golf, or focus), or I can put in the travel cot, push chair and all of the the other stuff that is compulsory with a baby, and it all fits in the boot. Hell I can even fit my electric guitar rig with 4U SKU rack, hiscox cased guitar and two Marchall 1x12 cabs into the boot with room for a case of beer or two and nobody would know. Have you seen the boot in the photos of the above link? You would have to lift everything up to armpit height just to get it in.

I want a practical performance car, but I don't want a smash and grab estate or a hernia inducing weight lifting challenge...
