In my experience the reds rather than the whites tend to feature at the highest end of alcohol content, e.g. big Aussie reds like d'Arenberg Dead Arm is 15%.

Bellingham 'The Maverick' Chenin Blanc is 15%. It also happens to taste fantastic, is about £8 and is available from Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Majestic. What are you waiting for?

Unless you're buying pretty high-end wine, most isn't suitable for long term ageing at all and will degrade if it's not drunk relatively soon.

Strong white gives me asthma , and is bad for the joints
Strong red is foul, and I don't like red anyway unless its mixed with diet coke ( tastes like sangria )
so that leaves rose....11.5% is fine, goes well with tonic, drinks lots
