To be honest Bri, I have a bug eye and I love it to bits. Its had a new exhaust and a new panel filter and I'm in the process of sorting out a remap for it, but happy as larry with it as standard.
Welcome to the world of 'limited edition' bugeye ownership!!!!!
Oh and zyruss, I couldn't care less what you think about the bugeye, its my car and i like it. So go nick some sweets off some kids or something.

Black buyeye with STI spoiler and 18's, looks amazing! no morettes though, don't like them personally.

Think the bug looks better than the blobeye myself, both need an bit of sprucing up though from the std wrx look

Nothing wrong with the bugeye, it's a bit heavy that's all. good stiff chassis, bump up the power a bit and you're there

just read all that slagging each other off,well i like mine and dont think its slow at all ,with a decat and a remap giving it around 275 bhp that sounds ok to me ,and if a clio wants to race me let him who cares ,let him i have better things to do .From some 1 who owned a mondeo and bought a bugeye i find it insulting that some people think i have no money and thats why i bought it ,total crap so 11000 is not a lot of money?it is to me and bought it with my own savings which i worked bloody hard 4.

Personally I have found the looks of the Bugeye STi have grown on me.

A bit like a wart a had a few years ago. Also quite hairy until you get used to it.

Certainly not trying to look like something its not,I had very good reason to fit that scoop.

 

How does that make it 'Gay'? You have no idea of what sex i am.Pink is a lovely colour,I wear it all the time

 

Personally I think they've aged really well.

You look at a bugeye (even a standard wrx) from above - say from a balcony and they looking fecking awesome!

I also find certain angles when im washing mine that look really mean.

A lot of cars can look ugly, just depends on the angle theyre viewed from!

 

Nothing to do with angles of view at all ..... the BugEye is one of the ugliest cars to ever drive along tarmac ..... it really is hideous!!

The photos above, they are cars which are the pride and joy of their owners and they have 'tried' to improve the look, but it simply cannot look good at all!!

You've pulled that photo out before, and personally apart from the colour I think it looks great.

Each to their own then I suppose.

It's also nice to have a one of the rarer shaped scoobs, classics and blobeyes you see almost every other car
