Also, if you wanted to use your car for its intended purpose WTF did you change it to something else???

You appear to be talking out your rear end ............... and actually posting it as your location is really, really sad - to not round up/down the 0.7 shows an **** quality quite beyond even what SN can achieve.

You are clearly a SUPER-****!!!! Well done!!!

To be an **** you need to do something odd ....... just driving a car normally and getting a decent mileage out of the parts takes no special effort at all and certainly isn't odd.

But, to be an **** you must do something odd (like post up BHP figures to the 0.7 ..... like anyone actually gives a sh...)

It now seems that my mpg figures are not as they first seemed

I think I am now getting around 27mpg a slight misunderstanding on the size of the tank see?? I thought I had a 45Litre tank - turns out that I may have a 60Litre tank!!

So my 36mpg appears to have been an error ....... I get about 360miles to the tankfull.

Its seems hard to work out mpg!!! How do we expect to know?? Guess the only way is to fill up to max and then run until dry and a can of fuel ready when it happens! But we dont want that as its hard on the engine when it dies with no fuel!!!

Best way is to fill the tank until the pump clicks loads of times and you can get no more in.
Drive for whatever amount of miles, say 100-150 to get a decent average, then fill it back up again until it won't hold anymore.
Take a note of how many litres it took to fill it back up and the miles you've covered, and you can work it out fairly accurately from there.

Thats all I will say on the matter - the starter of this thread misjudged what they posted about my death, it did not go down as funny or clever .... it backfired in their face and now they try and salvage something here

Like I said - I have 2 names, never ever had any more ...

I certainly wasn't suggesting that the admin block any IP addresses, only that he keeps an eye to see what the pattern is and to restore some sanity. When every thread on this board is disrupted by abuse etc. then it can't be good for anyone.

It would be really interesting to trace some of the disruptive IP addresses back to their owners as in a few cases I have some thoughts. Some motoring boards have found that disruption and lies on safety, legal and similar issues were coming from IP addresses which turned out to be staff working in camera partnerships. They didn't block the addresses, just posted a sticky with a list of the user names of users to watch out for.

This is absolute crap & a complete waste of time & space...

It beats me why the moderators are allowing this thread to continue, given the title & early post's....

Ive been here for a few years myself, check if you wish,i dont post very often but i feel i should,(getting a bit too often though really)

Yes i believe you set this up we all know you are Mr reee and for some one to actually give a mobile number via pm to Mr reee and then get a phone call, just proves in it self that you did set this up,whether you are disrupta or not doesnt matter but you are involved.

Albeit a lot of people fall for your ****e and get hooked in to an argument with you,but some of us know you better than that, because thats what you thrive on.I personally think of you more like my 4 year old neice, childish and insecure, but then, she's more inteligent than you.

I dont like causing bad feeling on this site and try not to,i just feel that pslewis shouldnt be allowed to do what he does to everyone who askes a simple question like "How do i do an oil change?"
This site is a wealth of knowledge on the Subaru marque and people like him should not be allowed to tarnish the site by giving "newbies" sarcastic remarks about "how to do" post, when infact that might be the very reason they joined SN in the first place ,to get some honest basic engine skills that wont hurt their pride and joy.

On that note i shall bow out and leave you debate or tell me im wrong/**** whatever.......i dont really care what you think of me in anycase.

Who honestly gives a flying fukc? Scoobynet is just an internet site, if your real life revolves around scoobynet (traders aside) then there is something savagely wrong in your world.
st3v3, you were a self righteous ***** in 2002 and it doesnt seem to have changed any.

If you really dont care a hoot for Mr Lewis or his posts then click the "ignore user" button and: hey presto his ramblings will no longer appear on your screen.
