ERrr, nice spec. But not too sure about the "new" bonnet strut you have fitted! IS that a go faster brush or just the wrx version? LOL.
Hmm let me guess, it looks like a bog standard brush to me.
HAhaha.

Tut, tut: Bog brushes are shorter!

I have now 'adjusted' my bonnet stay to work, so I have the Sti one again!

The car weighs in at 1287Kg iirc.

Must admit it is a great package of a car, but now needs a serious hike to go faster (or a better driver of course, maybe some big brakes too...)

officially a 10.48 at 138mph on video.... spinning and launching soft with a bad tune...

this is what the car did in it's old form before I de-riced it from the previous owner. It was done for attention, whereas, I am the opposite... I want the car as plain and clean as possible to not stand out any more than necessary....

but it has run a 10.2 at 147mph with a lot of tire spin, no video and lost timeslip, so it is not worth much to say so I guess..... that was with a 35hp nos shot to wake it up a little... made a big difference....

I think the APS DR750 intercooler is actually too small and/or was heat soaked... which would explain the 35hp nitrous shot making so much more power... that and it still is not tuned properly...

the car should have some mid to low 9's in it when/if I can do it....

the tune and the setup on the intake manifold will be the power maker I think at this power level.... my stock ported intake cannot flow nearly enough....

Anyone know where I can get a WRC intake for Cheap??? HA, that's a joke....

I plan on making my own fabbed aluminum sheet intake manifold for some "changes" in power....

Thanks for the compliments!

GRAHAM!!! and FUZZ!!!

Thank you both for your kindness... and no, I take a good jest with great pride!!!

if someone doesn't like someone else, they don't make fun of them, they just don't talk to them at all... so any attention to me, in my case, tends to be positive!!!!

I am working on a new video... old video was ok quality but shows the car in "RICER-SPEC" graphics and such with horrible body kit.... before I got the car and starting to work on it....

The best part of Texas is the Women, the worst part of Texas is the Women.... (Hard to get 'em, hard to afford once their yours, hard to keep them from leavin')...

TEXAS is GOD AWFUL hot compared to UK..... I have several wonderful friends from Ireland who come visit here in Texas for the summer or short holidays.... they are always amazed by the heat...

But, If you want a place where you can find roads and interstates of good quality with medium to no traffic on them, West Texas is your Place... I am in East Texas, close to Dallas....

As far as nice places to visit; Austin and Dallas and small hill country towns (duelin' banjos playin') around Austin are the best.... wonderful winding hills and roads in Austin area... beautiful country.... never been to CALI or Vancouver, but they look nice.... gonna go to San Diego, Cali maybe this summer for a Motec tuning training class...

No offense taken!!!

I really appreciate the kindness and hospitality!!

my98 STi Type R ver4... This should be running for the beginning of June... my block is due back from Ron by the middle of May... so fingers crossed it shouldn't take to long to chuck it in...

2.35 Stage 4 AXIS EJ22t Block...
Cometic head gaskets, ARP headstuds & bolts
Gems ecu with anti-lag
Uprated headers, up-pipe, down pipe with 3 inch exhaust system
Heads have just come back... all cleaned up as new... re-shimmed, valves re-seated etc... look mint...lol
Hybrid FMIC
Uprated fuel pump
Gotta purchase these off Andy F in the next couple of weeks...Garrett hybrid turbo that bolts up in the standard
position, 3' inlet pipe, V port 800cc flow matched injectors...
plus other little bits and bobs... should make it fly...
Check out my projects thread... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/showthread.php?t=499099

haha excellent come back Ryno, glad you took as the joke it was meant to be.

Hope you have good results with yours, mine spends more time in the shop than it does on the track, there always seems to be something else it "needs" before it's ready.

Good stuff.

I 2nd that!!! GOOD THREAD!!!

yes, Dallas and my area are hot.... it has been nice this week and the past week, with temps in the mid to high 70's (F) and low 80's.... about 3 weeks ago, it got up to 95 a few days in a row.... that was no fun for springtime.... tells me that summer is gonna be Hell...

I have been thinking strongly about trying to move to the UK, possibly Ireland, but I have heard it is hard to get over there and live and work for very long without lots of trouble.....

I am obviously into cars, and do my own mechanic work on cars and trucks of all types, performance and stock.... have a Bachelors in Business management, and I work at a hospital as an I.T. guy.... I ain't no JENIUS computer wiz, but I know enough to get my job done.... learning anymore or doing more just ends up being more work for the same pay around here..... ..... ..... so, I have been thinking strongly about moving over there where it rarely gets above 80 F temperature, because I am a fata$$ and hate the heat.....

I have been thinking about selling the WRX, but, people here are tools, and they just want rice.... very few people here looking for a real road car or a real-race-road car...... they just want wings and graphics and 200whp..... enough to beat the HON-DUHS around.....

I added up the money in the car and quit adding when I got to $80K , IN PARTS..... YEESH!!!

Do you think someone in the UK might be interested in the car once I get some videos of it racing and dyno numbers???

I was thinking about selling for $50K U.S. dollars.... how far off do you think I am?

Not sure on selling it, really, I love the car.... just have to see what life does to me in the somewhat-near future....
