I wondered that too.
Is an X plate plus it's had loads of mods and is a helluva quick car!

Bttt - Sell the Damn thing will you Too many good cars about at the moment. Problem with this car and mine is its a limited market. Only someone who wants all the whissels and bells will buy it. But a lot of people would sooner buy a base model and slowly as they can afford it modify it to this standard. What people don't realise this is done out of the box ready, and would probably save someone over 10K if they really analized it, and even more if they brought mine .

Irronically if this was about, 6 months ago I would have brought it, and was actively looking hard to find a 20g, 2.5 with all the right bits... But heyho.

Lol. Thanks guys.

I think the main problem, apart from no-one in general buying at the mo, is they don't really know, how much capable the 2.5 is. Mention to someone you know, that doesn't or hasn't owned a scoob, that is has a 2.5 and they shrug it off, purely as the difference in their minds is half a litre and that isn't all that much. I would have agreed.....till i drove it!

free bttt for you, and both good luck and commiserations (sp?).

Just had a 2.5 in my STi3 wagon, and these engines are absolutly amazing, in my mind a far superior way of going fast on a day to day basis (and with the additional torque even better pottering in town).

You couldn't go wrong buying this, it's obvious how much money (and time) has gone into it.

I'm in no position to buy this car but would love to. If i was in a better position, my decision would be affected by gearbox issue. I know it's small but i'd really want to but a 100% fit car. Maybe it's worth doing the work and bumping the price

oh yeah -

I know Brun...just thinking about it, but i'm trying it this way, giving a certain period of time, then i'll do the box probably. At least this way, it's cheaper than if the gearbox were done and it's still very useable.

Thanks to both of ya!

I've only been a passenger in an Sti v3 converted this way, SUCH a great car.
It will cost much more than the fab low price here to build this car.....mad nobody has bought it.
Mad.
