Very good point.....is defo more of a winter thing........what does everyone think about saving it until autumn time, when the wet and windy weather starts?? (mind you, its not much better in sarfend today!).................am happy to put it on hold and look at getting a date sorted once the summer is coming to an end for a sunday later in the year.......hopefully will be a better response to that then already had

Thinking caps on please......
Now its getting colder and darker this could be a good time to take over the odeon for a screening.
For those of you who didnt read the thread when i posted up before, bascially the Odeon offer a service whereby you canhire a whole cinema screen and fill it with as little or as many (well as many people as the screen can take) as you want AND choose your own film to watch....you can pretty much choose anything you like!!
Obviously the cost various depending what time and which day of the week you go (and best to avoid trying to book very recent films as that costs more too), but usually works out around £2-£3 each (more people can come the cheaper the price per person).
So........now we just need to sort a date out and what decide film we want to watch.........just because i'm being lazy, can someone tell me when there are ESC events coming up over the winter months, so I dont try and book a date when people cant make it.
Let me know ideas for films and whether a week night (mon-thurs) evening or weekend's are better (lets avoid fri and sat as its more expensive and harder to organise for those nights at the cinema)
Sorry for waffling on
Bones x

Maybe could do the ESC tunnel run III DVD premiere??
Sure ALL the tunnel run people would come then (over 100) just too see if their car makes the BIG screen

Would be cool to hear all the other cars at the cinema though, if it's possible!

Don't see why it would be a problem, if its on a DVD as that all they use now?!?
Glad people like the idea
I thinks we should set a price say £5 each with any profits going too EAA or whatever?!?
Also had an idea for car park sercuity (if needed)
Think this could go REALLY well!! What about the lakeside odeon??

There isnt an Odeon at lakeside is there
I know the marketing manager for Odeon Southend and Chelmsford, so was thinking maybe Chelmsford would be good as its kind of central for everyone in the club
Will give him a call in next couple of days and find out availabilty for december and january and if we can do a Tunnel Run showing on its own......will keep you all posted
