I am saying that he would think its quick, not compared to an F1 car obviously, but if he jumped into an STI and then into a vx, I know which one he would think is faster

Your right sti's, are p*ss poor.Should stick with a Mondeo turbo diesel.
Closest thing i have driven to a vx is an Elise, dog rough imo.
Being 6'1" didn't help, felt like a sardine in a can

Great, this is like being in the playground.
So now you're comparing a standard Impreza, to a heavily modded vx. What an earth point are you trying to make? As far as I can tell you are saying that if you drive faster car, then get into a slower car, then the slower car will feel gutless? So if someone jumped from a Bugatti veyron into your car, that would then feel gutless too. It doesn't mean that your car is gutless, in the same way it doesn't mean an Impreza is gutless just because you've been driving your vx.

Oi, I have owned a standard sti, a P1 and now a 350BHP STi, what I am saying is when in 265 standard form they feel slow, sorry but they are, when you have been used to quickers cars, yes they are fast "ish" when you drive other things that are lighter etc they are not, will leave it there ok ![Luxhello](images/smilies/luxhello.gif)
They are good for a 4 door heavy saloon car

Oh please let everyone have a go in your wonder Vauxhall, I'd love to drive something so fast, perhaps I could come round on my bike and have a go.
Oh no, no point, it would feel a bit gutless after getting off a bike!

Personally I find people boasting to be more childish.
Bigheadedness is not a particularly attractive quality and you'll probably find that people smile at you alot and just put up with you, but then talk about you behind your back.

You may think its slow but thats just your opinion and i feel you are in the vast minority.
