Highly unlikely to affect him in his pocket.....his insurance will have to pay out, not him personally. Still think that many posters on here are just that little teensy weensy bit jealous of the wealth he has achieved...after all how many of you have ever sat in never mind owned a SLR maclaren?? (that'll wind em up....)

Not at all. Do you still admire him then - even though his character is rather seriously flawed?

From my standpoint anyone who causes an accident that almost kills someone because of their own lack of driving ability and then runs off is nothing other than the scum of the earth.

YES I DO!! It's the fact that he ran away after that was probably made him get sent down. Everybody has a chance of crashing, the illegal bit is leaving the scene of an accident after the "allegedly stupid driving".

Jealous of him, dont think so, I may not be rich or any good at boxing but I am not a complete c*nt like him, I had a certain amount of grudging respect when he was boxing because he did well and a little bit of cockiness was all part of his 'charm' but running away from nearly killing someone is just plain f*cking evil.

I think he may find out what 'hard' is in jail.

I think that those claiming racism is pathetic, if it was Ricky Hatton it would be the same, you cant brush things under the carpet because of someones skin colour.

What about that family that got hit by that stolen Honda Civic, not sure where the driver is from or what colour he is but he needs his head stoving in.

I've not seen an article when it says he ran away from the scene.

He may well of done, but the link to Sky and BBC make no mention of this.

....it does mention it on the BBC news "watch Nas arrive at court"

Why would the website not write this, seems pretty important to the case?

Just watched a police reconstruction of the way he drove on bbc news tonight. What a tosser! Blind brow, wrong side of the road, solid white line. 90+ mph. Deserves to be banned for life. END OF.

The guy was a seriously good boxer with potential but he lacked the heart of a fighter, the beating Barrera gave him saw to that. A real class boxer would analyse what went wrong and traing for a new strategy and go for a rematch.

His behaviour in relation to this accident is disgusting and he deserves the sentance possibly it was too soft. Seriously every major bone in his body broken. Can you imagine the pain and how long that will take to heal ? I hope the other guy was awarded a great deal of compensation payabale by Hamed.

His race or religion has no bearing on the fact he's a big of a **** now does it.

Hopefully he'll hang out in the gym at prison , loose loads of weight and get a rematch with Barrera who will humiliate him by pumelling him again, that would be justice.

Naseem wasnt a boxer in my eyes .One hard fight and he jacks!?He was however doing very well for himself, and people may well be jealous of this fact which creates such hatred of people like Naseem but all he,s done now is justify the hatred targetted at him.I wont be feeling any sympathy for him.

turboman786,how can you overide the fact that he nearly killed somebody, and defend his actions just because your of the same religion? That speaks volumes to me.

"Still think that many posters on here are just that little teensy weensy bit jealous of the wealth he has achieved"

It is quite possible to envy someones wealth yet still regard them to be a total ****.

This is a perfect example.

Turboman, you must have your head well up his **** with the rubbish you are saying. And he will be just as arrogant when he comes out, hardly humbler and wiser.

I won't bother to feed the troll!

With Mr Hamed the thing out of this situation that will really really hurt him is the fact that everyone knows he ran away like a little coward.
His egotistical nature will fan the flames on this for a long long time.

Oh ! And when they lock his cell door, turn out the lights and bubba stirs in his bunk above …………………

How many SLR owners have ruined a mans life forever?

Take a moment to read the above, then imagine what the quality of life will be for that man for the rest of his life.

No mate, IIRC he's inside for being involved in a street race in which the other driver crashed and died. He contests it to this day and I think there is an appeal pending.

My opinion of Hammed:

-Vastly over-rated boxer, talented but no heart or stomach for a good fight- only happy when he could avoid being hit.

-Very successful owing to good showmanship and great publicity!

-Believed his own hype, got caught up in the lifestyle, and acted like a **** out of the ring too

-Drove like a **** now someone else is suffering

-Wasn't man enough to own up to his mistake.

-His race or religious beliefs are completely irrelevant

As already mentioned the scoobynet member may or may not have been part of a race in which the other party died, if he was there he didn't hit anyone and stayed in his lane.

Bigger differences exist though.

NAS is well known to be a complete **** behind the wheel, he's a show off who's been involved in numerous accidents involving high powered cars and used his friends and family to carry the can. I have personaly seen his car being driven like a 17 year old in a Corsa.

The scoobynet member is a 100% nice guy who's down to earth and cool headed. Although he is young and owned many high powered cars he had a good driving record and like most of us drove sensibly 99% of the time.

Cheers
Lee

All this ranting and name calling wont change a thing,he will come out finacially stable, attitude intact(*****),career to go back to and a nice new shiney car to go round in until he gets his licence back and then its business as usuall...now his victim..now thats totally an unknown situation that I would hate to think about it ...should have cut off hameds hands and dipped his stumps in salt...well its a thought
