PSL's trolling skills are definately on the wane. He comes in triggers a few sparks but then doesn't hang a round to tend the flames and within half a page it's all fizzled out, swept in to a corner and ready for depositing in Muppets.

Because you don't want to be banged up wrongly ..... just a guess, but seems like a good reason why you would want to prove you didn't do it!!!

*****,

why stop at ID cards?

Why not simply chain everybody up in government controlled factories to graft away every day on pointless tasks of meaninless beaurocratic administration. We could all be fed bread and water, as why is there a need for fancy food.

Objectors should simply be shot, which would encourage everybody to fall into line very quickly.

Plus, with everybody in the factories (apart from the VIPs in govenment and their mates), CO2 emmisions from transport (cars, planes etc.) would drop to a miniscule fraction of todays levels - thus the Earth would be a better place (for some).

Oh, and we should put down everyone over the age of 75, as they don't contribute anything to society

Is this your preferred world???

Of certain individuals, yes!!

Remember one important fact, 95% of ALL crime is carried out by 5% of the population ...... now, whats wrong with just killing the 5% and cutting crime by 95%????

Just imagine how great this country would be to live in then????

I have Pete on ignore, highly recommended, however the death camps comment gave me a great laugh. If 95% of crime is caused by 5% of the population and you kill them you are then in a position where 100% of crime is caused by the remaining population. Oops, looks like that just about wraps it up for everyone.

Stalin got caught in a similar trap and ended up, after killing the opposition, killing those who appeared to support him, just in case they were lying or plotting. There are estimates from census data which indicate that he killed 26 million in Ukraine alone so it was only the vast number of people in his country that saved him from finding himself standing in the middle of the country all on his own.

Quote:'However, it said it made "no apology for erring on the side of caution".

So releasing nerarly 100 serious foreign criminals was very cautious wasn't it?
This government is a total joke, and the very nature of society is also a joke today!!!
It wouldn't take the introduction of ID cards to cut crime, it would just take intelligent use of resources (ie Police) and the removal of bureaucrats who invent targets for people to achieve to justify themselves a job.
The country needs to start focussing on real problems and real solutions. Not padding out all the problems with red tape and statistics, figures etc.
There was a story in the news tis week about special mother's and family's panels being called in to dish out sentences for certain types of crime, instead of 'experts' in the field. What I want to know is what makes them experts?
Have they been the victim of this type of crime on many occasions?
Have they lived with the aftermath of being raped, or losing a child to a recently released paedophile rehomed next to a school playground?
Plainly not, they are some PsLewis clone who is devoted to the Labour bull**** of meet the target and that is all we need to do. So they say they won't commit crime again, great!
Our job is Done!!!
Well, it obviously isn't done, we need a new (or old) system where criminals don't look at the crime and say yeah, even if I do get caught I don't mind picking up litter. And I'll have a new car, or loads of money. So whats to stop them? Hand the ******* over to the mother of the poor lad he's just ejaculated over, that would stop people doing it. Or give the 17 year old lad who stole the hard working family's car to the family for a day.

As has been said before, we all had (and have) choices to make. What Labour have done more than anything is taken the blame away from the person and put it onto society. If I decided i'd steal your brand new 06 STi as far as I'm concerned it's my choice and therefore my fault. Labour seem to think that because society never offered this young man a living its our fault.
Now I don't know about you but society never did anything for me, I did it for myself. So should they!

Rant over (sort of).

Apart from the fact that the Government want to sell our personal information to private firms for commercial reaasons, and that the Home Office by all the recent disclosures appears to be totally dysfunctional, what chance have they got to manage the information on identity cards anyway. It might take as much as a week before the Crims have discovered how to clone them and extract all the information that they need to get at our bank accounts etc.

The business about labelling innocent people as criminals is just incredible. What a load of incompetent plonkers they must be for goodness sake!

What excuse do you have for all that PSL, or are you going to hide again since you can't defend the indefensible?

Amusingly it seems that in France they have introduced an ID card but within a week of a new version appearing fakes are available. The fakes are so much less expensive (about £10 I believe) than the real thing that many people are buying fakes just to save on the cash. Says it all really.
